Saturday, we all went downtown to the History Center for the annual Star Wars Day....yes, I wore Princess Leia buns! T thought it was cool -he has not reached the age where he realizes I am a big nerd! :)

And they were able to make their own light sabers from fun noodles which was super cool. T chose the red bc he wanted to be a "bad guy." Nice!

After the Star Wars morning, we went back to our house for a long playdate....the boys broke out the costumes and put on a show for us...after the alien and stormtrooper above, we also got to see Uncle Sam and Darth Vader. pretty funny!
Then the boys went outside and played croquet...followed by baseball then soccer. In the 90 degree heat! Fun but HOT!
Sunday, we went to see Ice Age 4 with our good buddy James and his mom Dawn.
Then a fun playdate at Friendship park
All in all, a busy but super fun weekend!

OMG. The Star Wars themed park visit looks like so much fun. Taylor is so lucky!
And, don't think I did not notice Dan posed for a photo too. Awesome!
I have to say, you totally rocked the Princess Leia buns! And Fidel looked super-impressed with the dressing up.
