Fun Labor Day Weekend
We had a fun, fairly laidback, family weekend...Saturday we chilled around the house and made mini beanbags out of T's old socks and dried lentils. That was lots of fun as we played all variations of beanbag toss. Then that afternoon, we went to the community pool. Sunday, we took T-man to Gatorland. Super fun theme park and a great discount on admission for Florida residents! We fed turkey dogs to gators, played at the splashground, rode the train, had sno cones, let birds land all over us, petted snakes and baby gators, and just had a great time. Today, we went to the car wash and then to the UCF soccer game. That's what I love about a college town - always something fun and free to take the kids to see! Happy Labor Day, friends! Hope no one is laboring too much!

Looks like ya'll have a great Labor Day - so glad you're enjoying Orlando. Also, I'm glad to hear that you're planning to print this blog eventually - It's way too easy to forget the little, cute, funny things as time goes on.
Suggestion; I use bean bags in Sunday School to reinforce Bible verses. Write out two or more verses/poems/words and tape to the floor - toss the bean bag and if the child lands on or close then they get to say whatever is written. Especially fun to make a competition out of it.
Can't wait for Thursday night - Bulldawgs vs Tigers! We'll be there - look for us. We'll be the ones in Maroon!
