So early July, we headed out to Vienna...this was our bright-eyed and bushy-tailed pic...just starting out...
Then about 12 hours and 1 missed flight later...kinda loopy and super excited about caviar at the Heathrow airport.
And yet another 12 hours and A SECOND missed flight later, this was us...KNACKERED.
But we finally made it to Vienna! Gorgeous architecture.

Then the rain started....oh poncho fashion.
Dan went to his conference and T and I bought umbrellas and explored the city one afternoon.
Viennese water is the best in the world...36 hours before it hits the taps in Vienna, it is in natural springs in the southern Alps...it travels via gravity alone - not a single pump. It was really awesome!

Schonbrunn Palace...the home of the Hapsburgs in Austria. 1451 rooms...Napoleon's base when he took over the country...where Marie Antionette (born a Hapsburg) was raised...where Mozart performed for the royal family...where JFK met Kruschev in the Cold War...SO MUCH HISTORY!

Schnitzel...traditional Austrian food is a lot like german food.
