Christmas

 And then it was time for the main event...we followed our usual Xmas eve traditions...like cookies and milk for Santa...

 And of course a reindeer snack as well...

 T got xmas themed PJs from the elf as usual

 And we had Meemaw's crab soup and herbed rolls and my red white and green salad...as always!

 

 We did change it up this year and played the oven mitt game too - since Dad had not gotten to play the last one. :)

 

 With no grandparent in attendance this year, we had T read the obligatory Twas the Night Before Christmas....

 

 And then  the munchkin spent some time tracking Santa on the North Pole radar map as usual.

 

After finally getting the boy to sleep, it appears Santa did visit us after all!

 

 

 Happy with his stocking haul!  He helped Chelsea with her stocking goodies just like he used to do with Fidel.

 

 Oh yeah, excited about his ripstick from Mimi!!

 

Ooooh and a fat tied bike from Pam and PawPAw....

 

 and finally he got to find out his experience gift this year....a trip to the Keys with his buddy Caleb!

 

 This dunk hat game from Santa was funny...and for the record, the baseball player did end up soaked in our first game - NOT mom! 

 

 The fat tire bike was definitely the hit in the neighborhood....one of T's friends already ordered one for himself!!And naturally, he had to immediately don his new clothes from Pam!

 

 He also got the headphones and mic for his xbox - he can only chat and play with his buddies that we ACTUALLY know but still....this has kinda been a game changer.  Possibly not for the good.

 

 Xmas afternoon, our little family finally got to see the new Star Wars!!

 

 And this pic just made me laugh....typical xmas day in Florida...8 boys running around outside with shorts on and some even bare-footed!

 

 Then it got cold....brrr, our new puppy is definitely a Florida dog.  She HATES the cold!

 

 Mimi arrived on the 27th and we decided to go out for wine and painting...

 Mimi got a new baby bird while here too so T got to play with him.

 

 A boy and his dog...this dog is a major snuggler!
