HA it was not a whole month this time so that's a win right there! :) The past three weeks have stayed busy as expected...
Back in late June, we surprised these buddies with a trip to the local ninja gym to watch that night's ANW episode...
It was super cool bc we got to watch the episode while the kids payed on the obstacles AND got to meet some actual ninja warriors in person!
I cannot begin to tell you how sweaty these boys were after four hours in the gym!
And of course, T continued his mission to beat the warped wall!
We had a successful dentist appt...
Where mom made medical glove earrings and totally embarrassed her child. LOVED IT.
T went to WonderWorks with some buddies one day...super cool areas like a ropes course and the Bed of Nails (above)
Oh then we went to Ocala for a long weekend for the All Stars State Tourney....
It was good family time...
...and not as good baseball. :)
But lots of friend QT by the pool...
...and at the movies....
...but not so much "quality" on the field. (in fairness, Taylor actually played really well and I was proud of him...I think he has found a new talent as Shortstop that we never knew he had)
Sweet bunch of kiddos - we made good memories!
Our neighborhood's annual July 4th brats....probably twenty kids and I got put on sparkler duty. NEVER AGAIN. :)
And this is actually going well, shocker! We have removed one ring and will remove a second one tonight!
OH THIS. :) We parked downtown and took a public bus to the stadium for an orlando city game last week...and our city buses are free and nicely AC-ed. Which means you get some interesting patrons sitting beside you for the ride. Well this dude hopped on in a hospital gown fashioned into a romper (and NOTHING ELSE!!) and plopped down next to Dan. It was just too entertaining not to share. Culture shock for all of us? Yes. Something we need to do more often? Absolutely!

Our team lost but it was exciting as soccer games usually are!
T had a bowling day with buddies...
And slam dunking at a new trampoline place called SkyZone.
And a3-boy sleepover at our house one night...I left them at midnight sitting like this, watching a movie with plenty of places (BEDS) to sleep on in the back rooms.
Three hours later, I came out to THIS....one slept on the floor with NO pillow even! Crazy kids.
Oh a big summer theme this year had been ROCKS! It's a thing cities across the world are actually doing to spread joy...and get families outside moving! You paint rocks, you hide rocks, you find other rocks. It has been a lot of fun!

This is our usual rock hunting quartet.
We even went to a local paint studio and painted for free last weekend.
Painted and hid all of these last week...so which is your fave?? I was partial to the baseball ones, the monsters and the puppy dog! So far, T has found probably 80 rocks!
On July 10th, we were off to Miami to watch the MLB HR Derby...
It was an exciting one for sure! Aaron Judge may be a damn yankee but he is a BEAST.
It was a good family trip - we are definitely a baseball family!
Then another ninja warrior course...this one thankfully a bit closer to home...
And included a Parkour area as well which the boys enjoyed.
Every morning, Dan has been going outside with Tman (at TAYLOR's request!) to practice baseball and sharpen some of his skills...so that is a good.
Lastly, the summer tradition of Tman learning to cook continues...this time he tackled the grill!
Steak dinner! And it was really pretty tasty!
Next summer blog will likely include our family beach trip....which we are excited about! So stay tuned!
