Camping with cousins!

 T's spring break kicked off Thursday with Field Day at his school....can you find him amongst Team Coral in the Tug-O-War below?

 

 Taylor swore they were Coral and not PINK.  :)

 

 Afterward, I met up with him and some friends for the family picnic....then we headed home and packed up for our camping trip with our family!

 This pic below just cracked me up...my GPS was taking me to the cabin for camping and it put me HERE....on a dirt road in the middle of the woods.  And kept insisting that I go forward....through the trees!  To Taylor's confusion, I could not stop laughing!!

 We did finally make it to the cabin and met our Tallahassee family!

 

 

The boys spent a lot of time on our new hammock...mostly laughing and playing some silly game. I love that they still love to play together and have fun.

 

We were only a five minute walk from the natural springs...they were so pretty!

 

 

We spent a lot of time on the screened porch and and it was so nice!  The boys played Risk out there the first night.

 

And Wrennie snuggled on the hammock with Swayze dog!

 

 The next day, the weather was great (which nice since it was forecasted to rain all day)...so Ami, WEW and I rented a canoe and hopped on the Suwannee!

 

 Gorgeous river and so quiet and peaceful.

 

 Saw plenty of wildlife along the way...from turtles...

 

... to alligators!!! (this pic would have been better but my paddle gals would not get me closer!)

Look how pretty the water was...and how clear....see the turtle swimming below?

 That evening we played some Timber Toss in the yard - Mimi got in the action too!

 

 

  We also ventured into the ICY cold springs for a quick dip Friday afternoon...this did not last long!

 

 And of course, with no TV or WiFi in the cabin, we played a lot of old school games....Headbanz was one of the most hilarious as usual!

It was a fun trip and escape from civilization for a bit....so glad we can get the cousins together like this!!  Happy Spring, Y'all!
