Valentines Day

 My kiddo is a bookworm like his mom...he is addicted to a biography series now and has read about Genghis Khan, Julius Ceasar, Cleopatra, Nelson Mandela, Alexander Graham Bell and others...when we went to the mall the other day, I turned around and took this pic...reading while walking thru the mall.  Classic!  :)

 This is my monkey the other day in the house - climbed right up the walls!

 Our annual V day tradition of "Why we love you...." hearts on T's door.  I also filled up the den with red balloons before he woke up....not 99 red balloons of course but quite a few. :)

 My sushi lunch date with two sweet fellas...Taylor and James.  Kiddos who enjoy sushi almost as much as me!  :)

 Later on, since it was such a gorgeous day, I took the friends to the park...and then as a special Valentines gift to myself, I put the boys in a high tower jail on the playground. :)

 Ahhhh....the sweet friendly  "pre-wrestling" pic...

 Then 2 minutes later....but at least they were smiling. Grown men assure me that wrestling like this between buddies is normal for young friends. Still seems weird to me though!

Later, James came over to the house for a bit to play...and I took this cute pic discreetly of the boys trading baseball cards. 

They later went on the porch and ate popcorn by tossing it into the air and catching it in their mouths.  Fidel clearly loved this game more than anyone else. :)

 The next day, T was off school so we hit the playground again since it was a gorgeous day.  T and James made some new friends and played basketball on the courts for a good hour.  Then football for another hour.

 Had to share this pic...two of my favorite ladies at a super fun V-day party thrown by two of my dearest friends, Maria and Michelle. Loved this pic so much - my mom and aunt look so happy!

 

 It has been so pretty lately and our azaleas have been looking super....so had to take a pic! Ready for spring!
