Oh man oh man, I love FALL!! And for us Central Florida folks, when it drops below 80, Fall has officially arrived. :) So it was here this weekend and I started Saturday morning with a long bike ride all alone on the Seminole Trail...it was total perfection and a great way to start the day!
T had a baseball game that afternoon and afterward, we all went to the local sports bar to watch some football with the other families...the boys loved the arcade the best obviously! We have a super great group of parents and kids this season yet again.
Later that evening, we came home and played some more baseball in the backyard then my silly kiddo used a Tshirt and dressed as a ninja while he practiced his karate kicks. Yes in his boxers. :)
The moon from our skylights in the living room...not sure why this made me so happy but it did.
Sunday the weather was even more perfect...76 and sunny with a touch of a breeze. So T and I rode bikes up to his baseball practice...
And for the first time, he rode his new bike with hand brakes and gears. He is still getting used to the bigger size and the hand brake thing but if he sticks with it, I know he will enjoy it better!
Oh and how sweet is this pic? Dan took it...he walked into the room last night where T was playing Civilization and Fidel was laying next to him while T petted him softly. A boy and his dog. Love it!
Ah....and since it was sushi Sunday in our house yesterday, I had to share one of my famous food pics! :) Delicious!
And for your viewing pleasure, this is a video of my boy in Saturday's game...had several great defensive plays, got two kids out on bases with perfect throws and had a Double and a Single. Probably his best game ever! (So this is a video of his double...please excuse my shrieking and my friend's also! We get a little excited:)
And just to prove what great fun coaches we have this season...Taylor and his buddy Brody asked if they could come up with something silly for a different Coach to do every time the team won a game...and the coaches agreed. Good sports! So after Saturday's game, the pitching Coach sang "I'm a Little Teapot!" LOL! The boys loved it.
