No pics in this post which is a rarity for me, I know! :) But just wanted to post a quick update on kindergarten after a week and a half. So far so good! Taylor has really done a great job....I was afraid we may have some issues with dropping him off in the car line every morning but nope! That boy is scrambling out of my door with his backpack and lunchbox before I can come to a complete stop most mornings! :) He really likes his teacher and has some new friends...Jason, Nelson, Mason, Matthew, Carl, Jayden, and others. And so far, he has gotten two WOWs! on the behaviour chart which makes him super proud of himself. He has been working on his first popcorn word list (sight words) this week and seems to know them well. Last night was his first homework....he had to decorate a paper ginergbread man....and he did it all on his own. He went thru his art and craft bag and glued a black mask and a red feather on the poor gingerbread dude...told me he was making him look like Magneto but to me, he looked like a drunken Zorro! :)
All in all, we are adjusting just fine...and hope it continues!
