Magic Kingdom!

We had the JOY of spending the day at Magic Kingdom with our good friends Landon, Michelle and Maria on saturday...and it was the SUCH an amazing day. A perfect day at Disney actually....I highly recommend the weekend after Labor Day to everyone as a great time to visit Disney. Bc there were NO crowds, NO waiting on anything. It was amazing!! We were there when the park opened (which is a pretty cool opening ceremony that I never knew about)...and from 9 AM - 3:30 PM, we saw that whole park!! And even did a few rides repeatedly...since there were no lines. We rode the Astro-Orbiter, the Buzz Lightyear ride, the Tommorrowland Speedway, Peter pan's Flight, Pooh's Hundred Acre wood ride, The Haunted Mansion, It's a Small World, Tea Cups, Aladdin's Flying Carpet, Flying Dumbo, Big Thunder Mountain roller coaster (THREE times!), Splash mountain (TWO times!), Pirates of the Caribbean, and the Jungle Cruise. The boys are really at the age where the two roller coasters got top billing - and I will admit, neither of these coasters were for the timid. (Moms screamed and closed their eyes as usual!) We even had time for a nice lunch picnic and The Pirates league where the boys were made up like real pirates. They got new Pirate names too...Taylor was "Jeremiah Cannonshot." (And the boys want it to be clear to everyone....it was NOT make-up on their faces....it was "pirate paint." :)) Then we went back to their resort and had dinner by the pool. Truly a magical day as Disney is supposed to be!
