We had a great time seeing the family in Birmingham over SPring Break. Taylor had SOOOOOO much fun playing with his cousins. Christopher even referred to Taylor as a "hugging machine" bc T-man was constantly hugging him or holding his hand. Both Fur and Linz were so sweet and protective to their younger cousin. Linz even showed him how to kick the soccer ball, ride a bike and ride a scooter. Saturday was Fur's 8th birthday - happy bday, sweet guy! We loved seeing Anne and Sam, Ronny and Suzie, and Gdad too....and one of T's favorite things was walking Gdad's dog Cody! Cody is a chihuahua and so he is the perfect size for Taylor. T-man strutted around the neighborhood about 6 times a day with poor Cody on a leash. Gdad also did his usual fun spoiling game of hiding matchbox cars around the house for Taylor each day. Needless to say, Taylor was in heaven! Oh and a funny thing T said - every morning we would go outside and get Gdad's newspaper from the driveway. Well, on the last morning I said "Taylor, let's get Gdad's newspaper." Taylor looked at me all exasparated and said "WHY did Gdad put it out there AGAIN!!?!?!" Obviously we do not get newspapers the old-fashioned way at our house so he was understandably confused.
On the way back home from Bham, we stopped thru JAckson and the whole Harris clan (and Mimi too) helped us load a 16-foot Uhaul truck with some of Meemaw's things. It was so nice and we are very thankful to them all. Taylor got some good "QT" with Pam and PawPaw as well.
