Ways to Wake Up

Yesterday morning, I got to sleep in and at 8:40 AM, Taylor came running into my room saying "Mommy, come play in the rain with me!" Sounded good to me...so we played in the rain yesterday until lunchtime.



















This morning, Dan got to sleep in and he was awakened in a different manner...yep, a DRUM serenade!

Both options are certainly different than the ways I used to wake up on the weekends, pre-parenthood! Fun, but different...and for the record, I prefer the rain to the drums! :)
