As the last few days of summer wound down, Mom took off some time from work to play....one night we made homemade flubber...it was literally just stuff we had around the house and came together in seconds.
So fun and slimy!!
T cut the pieces up and made a "slime puzzle."
The Friday before school started was Dodgeball Tournament day at Boing...T has been dying to compete in one of these forever!
They started out slow and were the youngest team...but ended up finishing strong. It was really exciting to see what some of these boys can do out there!

The next daywe grabbed our buddies Cristina and her boys and headed down to the resort in south orlando...as usual, the moms arrived a few hours early to get some fun and relaxation by the pool before the wild beasts arrived. :)
AND....they did arrive - wild and crazy as usual!

The resort was really fun...so one night while moms grilled dinner by the lake, the boys played putt-putt!

SPOONS! This game seriously never gets old. :)
Boys riding the surrey bike around the resort...and with that, we ended our little getaway to celebrate the end of the summer!
So night-before-school-starts dinner request from Taylor...very detailed...tilapia, capers, fruit (including cotton candy grapes), cherry tomatoes and cukes. Brain food for 4th grade...hopefully!
School finally started last Wednesday and we bid our fun summer adieu.
Excited boy....he actually LOVES his new teachers, Ms. Quinlan and Ms. Lewis. He literally was gushing about how nice they are after his first day and that is remarkable for my boy who does not get excited about much and certainly never school. Thus far, they have impressed Dan and I with their creativity and flexibility and fun in the classroom too. So very hopeful for a GREAT 4th grade year!!

I LOVE Taylor's taste in food, what a great night before 4th grade dinner! And the flubber, so fun! ALso, their dodgeball team looked serious, and I'm thinking they could get Nike to sponsor!? Enjoy 4th grade T!
