We have been busy the past couple weeks...of COURSE there have been baseball games...
Our little pitcher is doing great!
Numerous bike rides too - which is great bc the weather has been perfect and he has finally started to love his newer bigger bike. He just needed to grow another inch!
We had a fun playdate one afternoon with James...they went biking on the trail...

Had to share this pic bc it is T's favorite activity for two hours after bedtime every night now...boy is obsessed with reading! Which is a great thing but I do wish he would close the book a bit earlier and get more sleep!
This weekend James came over again and the boys took Fidel on a walk after his bath...they were both holding the leash because that dog of ours is STRONG!

At the park afterward to have our annual Mom-Son easter egg hunt....check out these cool moms packing plastic eggs with candy and gizmos.
Kids enjoyed hunting down the eggs....we moms hid them so well that some of them we never even found!

The boys captured lots of those little black grasshoppers....
Then used them for fishing off the dock at the park's lake...I kinda loved what a "yucky boyish" fun thing it was!! Every little boy needs to capture bugs and go fishing at least once!
Each boy caught at last one fish too - by the end, they were baiting the hooks and taking the fish off all by themselves which was great for this mom - less work! :)
Sunday morning, the kiddo woke us at 2:30 AM but we convinced him to go to sleep. He then woke us up the second time at 6 AM. Tracked down his easter basket...the sneak EB had hidden it in the laundry basket this year but T followed the grass trail and found it pretty quickly!
Happy boy! The chocolates, Magic 8-ball, Diary of a Wimpy kid book, and soccer/baseball cards were definitely his fave of the basket loot!
Like he does every year, Good 'Ol E.B. left Tman a hand-written message on his bathroom mirror. It says "Taylor - You are growing into an EGG-cellent boy! It makes me HAPPY! Love, E.B."
Overall a very nice spring week or two and a good Easter.....love this weather!

Looks like a great Easter for Taylor. Love the fishing with his hand-caught bait - keep up the good work, T-man. Palm tree climbing looks tough!
