Summer has officially begun...last Wednesday was T's last day at school so Thursday, we met our buddies at the park to play some tennis...T has really been loving tennis lately.
The boys also found a really cool trail...it was like a shady jungle in there! We did not have time to follow it to the end but promised we could go back another time and do that.
Friday, we broke out the slip 'n slide...
And T's buddy James came over...
And there was a water balloon fight too...and that is all I have to say about that. :)
We walked down and fed the ducks as well...
Then this weekend, we drove over to New Smyrna Beach to see our Tallahassee family who was visiting on their family vacation. They have a great house right on the beach...check out the smile on my boy - he loves the surf and sand!

The kids spent a lot of time jumping these waves while Ami and I sat on the balcony and watched closely. Some of these waves were fierce and New Smyrna is the #1 shark attack beach in the world so it took some mommy willpower to stay back and let T handle himself...and he did just fine along with all the other kids out there. Sometimes we have to force the blades off our own helicopter. :)
Later the kids played football on the beach...super fun day!!
So....SUMMER 2014 has arrived...let the fun begin!!

sis-so glad you and T came to see us and I am so happy that my favorite time of year is finally here!
