So....my boy's summer fun has continued...last week, he spent a day with my amazing friend Dawn and her son James at the local waterpark. (thanks again, D!!)
Apparently he LOVED the slide and went down it over and over again...
The boys also made a visit to Boing later that week for some fun bouncy exercise!
One evening, our friend and Daddy's co-worker Rose came over for dinner and Taylor helped her with her World Cup picks.
Mimi also came down to visit for a week...T loves Camp Mimi every summer for sure!!
Then we had our sweet family from Birmingham come for a visit...T LOVES his cousins!
We took them to Lake Eola that Sunday...Dan's first photo bomb! :)

Last weekend, we rented a place at New Smyrna Beach with T's buddies and their moms - MY buddies. :) Definitely gonna make it an annual tradition!!

We spent quite a bit of time in the pool too...lots of Marco Polo was played. :)
In the evening, we went sandcrabbing with nets and flashlights...
The boys loved it and were not scared to hold the little fellas at all..they were very gentle too so we did not hurt any. A big sucker pinched me though!! Yikes!
The moms' only pic of the weekend...check out that awesome moon hanging so low over the ocean behind us. It was Friday the 13th and a full moon. Super cool!
And for good measure..bc this IS a summer post after all...here is some of the recent bounty from our garden...those big guys are Lemon Boy tomatoes and the red ones are actually grape tomatoes, even though they are huge and look like plum tomatoes! T had a plate of fresh tomatoes as dessert last night - still warm from the sun. Love that!
And of course, a summer post would not be complete without mention of the other thing occupying our time these days...WORLD CUP!! This is what my living room looks like every day...the game on the TV and T's chart hung up below...as soon as one game ends, he uses his marker to record the score on the chart then at the end of the day, he gives us the rundown of who is in 1st place, 2nd place, etc in each group. Yes we are a World Cup family...speaking of, GO USA tonight!!!!!
