Yesterday we were supposed to go to the "Holiday in the Park" event, where the city brought in 100,000 pounds of snow and had tobboganing and snowman-building for the kids. Alas, it was 40 degrees and raining all day yesterday so we met Claire and Courtney at Kids Depot instead...so the kids could get some energy out. And boy, did they! We stayed and played right through naptime. Four hours later, we decided it was time to go home. What a fun way to spend a cold rainy day! (Forgive the ratty, ill-fitting jeans on my child - he is into a "dress his ownself" phase!)
