We had a great time with Claire, Courtney, Cody, Parker, Ellie, Kevin and Julia today at the zoo. It was HOT but lots of fun. For the record, Tyler has a terrific zoo. We fed the birds, had some snacks, fed the ducks, petted and brushed the goats, saw snakes, penguins, leopards, tigers, giraffes, lions, anteaters, and more! Oh and some of us even attempted to slip through a gate or two before Mommy could catch us! (Claire?!?! :) The cutest moment of the day? Taylor picked a flower (yes, Zoo property I know) for Claire and she was so excited when he gave it to her that she ran up to a stranger to show it off and then she came back and gave Taylor a big hug. Sweetest thing ever!
This was pretty much the way Taylor and Claire "toured" the zoo - by running everywhere!
