T wanted to check the dates on my pennies to find the oldest one we had...which, by the way, was 1959...anyway it led to an impromptu science experiment.
We took dirty dull pennies and put them in vinegar and salt for 10 seconds...
Then rinsed with water and voila, shiny pennies!!
The next day was gorgeous weather...we started out at Little League assessments then met some buddies at the park....my kid is such a monkey
There is a really cool trail at this park...you would love it, pawPaw. Lots of foliage and swamps and wild citrus trees.

These silly boys spent 30 minutes digging up this heavy rock with tiny sticks and their fingers...then they put their feet on it and declared it "Mount Olympus!"
Afterward we went to sushi and met some more friends...
YUM!!
The next day, we went to a movie with some friends...the kids have reached the age where they choose to sit alone and separate from the moms!
That afternoon, we found a new fabulous park in our little town...it is shaded with trees and a big lake and lots of green areas for playing football and soccer. So fun!
And below is a video of T's favorite new talent he taught himself...he has really wanted to learn to do a front flip for a while now so last week, he practiced on our bed and figured it out. Now he does it non-stop!!

The sushi looks pretty darn good - hungry. Yes, I'm sure I would love that park. How is the baseball going? When does Taylor's season begin?
