Fun Weekend

Saturday we took the boys to see Star wars Episode 1 in 3-D in the theater....it was a great day. T started out that morning by asking me to paint his face like Darth Maul. Yikes! My first inclination was to say "no, too hard!" but then I remembered my friend Brenda likes to say "Love is a VERB!" She is right...so I grabbed some old face paint from Halloweens of yore and some black eyeliner...and voila, Darth Maul! He loved it and stayed in his Darth Maul paint through the whole movie.

T wrote on all his valentines for his friends tomorrow at school...big change from last year when he would only write a T to sign his name on each card. This year, he signed his name to each one and wrote the names of each friend on the envelopes all by himself!

Friday night, we had our good friends Amie and Kayleigh over for dinner and good conversation...and Tman wrangled poor Amie into reading him a long Dr. Seuss book! Exactly what a preschool teacher wants to do on a Friday night after teaching 3-yr olds all week! :)

We also spent a fabulous family afternoon yesterday in the yard...planting flowers, blackberry and raspberry bushes, asparagus, raking, mowing and fertilizing. It was awesome!
