Helicopter NOT Hovering!

So on Saturday afternoon Taylor and I went to this new playground our friend Brenda told us about. It was lots of fun...at least for T-man! For the first time (pretty much ever), I FORCED myself to sit still on the sidelines and let Taylor play without me hovering. Yes, I have pretty much been a typical helicopter parent until now. It was tough, I admit. But I stayed away and Taylor had a great time! These older boys kinda took him under their wing and they played fabulously. So hopefully, now that he is about to be 3, I can step back a bit more often...I promise to TRY anyway!
