Road Trip

We returned Wednesday evening from an eventful, sometimes-fun and sometime-stressful, road trip. Friday night we stayed with Pam and PawPaw in Jackson and Mimi came over to eat some delicious eggplant parmesan with us. Thanks for the yummy meal, Pam! Saturday we drove to Gdad's house in Birmingham and had some tasty steaks. We love Gdad's new floors and had fun playing with Cody and all the fun trucks and T's cousins, Lindsey and Christopher. Sunday, we drove up to Smith Lake to have lunch and play at Aunt Krista's and Uncle Allen's new lakehouse. It's beautiful! Monday we went and had lunch with my friend, Amy and her adorable son Joseph. We played at the neighborhood pool that afternoon and then the "adults" got to enjoy a night out (sushi dinner) without the kids! Thanks again to Gdad and Linz for babysitting. Tuesday, we drove to Mimi's new house in Mississippi - she lives on 5 acres and has 4 dogs so needless to say, T-man had a blast! The stressful part I mentioned above revolved around the fact that Taylor got sick with a fever Sunday night and stayed sick until we took him to an urgent care clinic Tuesday night with Mimi. He had a really bad sinus infection and had to get a penicillin injection. By Wednesday, he was 90% better though and now he is healthy again, thank goodness. As usual, he was a great traveler and a real trooper! Following are some pics from our recent travels...
